The driveway leads towards a quiet country road in the direction of Odiáxere (seen in the distance). This village, while offering nothing of note beyond its lively market on the last monday of every month, has an excellent butcher, a baker of regional renown, several restaurants, a pharmacy, several cafes and pastelerias, a news kiosk and a small fish and vegetable market. The pretty old town of Lagos is four miles away. The metalled driveway is kept in good condition, so normal passenger cars have easy access.
